Why Choose Design-Build
Citadel Contractors, Inc. incorporates the design-build process into all of our tilt-up construction projects, which enables better communication and an easier construction process all-around.
Citadel Contractors, Inc.
Design-build is a construction system that allows the client to have a single point of contact throughout the entire process, from initial inception through to the final punch list. One dedicated contact means that you don’t have to chase down different subcontractors in different locations. We have a full suite of experts on staff working together as a single team: architects, engineers, and contractors, all operating with the single-minded goal of exceeding your expectations. We supplement our design-build approach with the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM), computer software that lets stakeholders from different disciplines communicate with each other to resolve any issues that may arise with a project. That means issues are resolved before the construction process begins, which streamlines the entire project and allows us to finish on schedule and within budget.
Our comprehensive design-build approach allows us to collaborate with you in order to ensure that the finished project fits both your needs and your budget. The benefits of the Citadel design-build approach include:
- Minimized risk for clients because we are responsible for the entire project from start to finish
- Easy communication with clients because we are a single entity
- Overlapping design and construction phases for shortened overall construction schedules
- Overlapped design and construction phases also allow for flexibility in the design should an issue arise during construction
- Greater possibility for collaboration and innovation between designers and contractors
What Our Clients Say
-
Obviously in the construction business, time is money. With Tilt-Up, Citadel beat the conventional type of construction time tremendously, which is a major cost savings. We found that compared to conventional methods, Tilt-Up is actually a less expensive—in direct costs—means of construction. So anytime we can, we’ll channel our buildings toward Tilt-Up.
